Who each one is for
BugBug
BugBug is a no-code end-to-end testing tool for SaaS teams. You record tests with a Chrome extension, edit them in a visual editor, and run them in the cloud or on your own computer.
DontBreak
DontBreak is for product people, founders and agencies who own a checkout, signup or form and want to know when it breaks. You build each step in a live browser by choosing an action and pointing at the element, and DontBreak runs the flow on a schedule or after each deploy.

Which one to choose
Choose BugBug if…
- You want to start on a free plan, or you need lots of runs for a flat price: paid plans include unlimited cloud runs.
- Chrome is the only browser you need, and running one check at a time is fine for your suite.
- You want test files you can read and keep in version control (YAML export), or AI agents writing tests through MCP.
Choose DontBreak if…
- Your customers use Firefox as well as Chrome.
- You want many checks running at once without paying per slot: 20, 50 or 100 at a time are included.
- You want CI from the entry plan, and steps that find elements by how they look.

Questions
- Is BugBug free?
- BugBug has a free plan with up to 15 tests that run on your own computer; cloud runs, schedules and alerts need a paid plan. DontBreak has no free plan, but a 14-day trial with up to 500 runs and no card.
- Does BugBug support Firefox?
- No. BugBug's FAQ says it doesn't support Firefox or Safari. DontBreak runs Chrome and Firefox, but not Safari.
- Unlimited runs or a run allowance: which do I need?
- Count your flows and how often you want them checked. Eight flows every hour on one browser is about 5,760 runs a month, which fits DontBreak's Solo plan. BugBug includes unlimited runs but runs them one at a time unless you buy more slots.
